Rain came down hard as the black and blue stallion waited. He was waiting for his mate, the Goddess that had created him. He didn't know where she had gone. Had she gone to give birth to their foal? Had she left to find the wind daughter she had created? He looked up when the thunder boomed around him. He snorted at himself and then trotted around the temple, his legs moving flawlessly. He jumped a small stone wall and moved into a canter. His blue mane was pulled out behind him, and his tail stood tall, like an arabian tail. He waited and waited for his Goddess to return.

The golden light of the Goddess' pelt appeared on the horizon, her wings stretched out to touch the sky, her hooves flashing against the earth and her banners swept around her like gossamer sheets of silk. For the briefest of moments she appeared alone, until the golden array was shattered by the glint of silver at each of her sides. A colt had appeared on her right. His pelt metalic silver, his banners short tuffs like ice and the wind threatening to pull his tiny form away. His legs were as dark as coal, like lightning had struck him and his pools were ebony dark like night. On her left was the most beautiful filla in the realm, her bodice complete ivory with a taint of darkness on her maw. Perfection. Her banners were longer than most, and swept back. Her pools were also ebon coal. The three danced back into the land, towards the storm god.

Blue orbs looked to the sky when he saw it open up. He didn't move, his legs stuck in the muck. He watched as they came to the ground and he knew who they were. It was his family, they had come home to him. He didn't speak, for he was like a mortal, struck by the wonderous sight. He smiled and then said, "Welcome home."

The goddess remained at a pace to stay with her foals, but the colt had raced ahead almost as if challenging his father. He skidded to a halt, but slid in the muck and crashed into his fathers side with a snort. He fell, before struggling to untangle his legs and stand up. He reared once standing and tried to reach his fathers maw to better see him. The filla had danced along, flowers blossoming where ever she walked, and birds calling out sweet melodies to her. She bleated and paused at her mothers side, waiting until she felt the goddess push her with her maw, to encourage her towards her father.

Tryan looked down at his son, then his side where the colt had hit. He made no sound as the colt got up and then tried to reach out to him. Then he made a move. He reached out his maw and touched his son's. Lightning flashed around them, making the earth move with the thunder afterwords. He looked up and saw is daughter. He saw the flowers and he knew it was his mate's daughter. They were one and the same. He nickered to her, trying to get her to come over to him. His eyes were a cool blue, making him look kind. His blue mane and tail move with the breeze that pushed the clouds out of the sky and opened it up to the sun dry things up.

The colt bounded off at an energetic canter, bucking and squeeling as he went, loving the feel of the thunder as it shook the earth or the sight as lightning streaked the sky. Diosa smiled and reached her maw to touch her loves, before standing at his side and watching there daughter who had paused at least two paces away and was reaching out her dial catiously to sniff her father.

He sniffed back, watching his son out of the corner of his eye. He made sure that his daughter was comfortable with him before he took a step forward. He swished his blue tail that was now trying in the warm sun, making his black pelt shine. He looked at his Goddess and said, "You did a wonderful job with them...What are their names?"

Diosa smiled. "This one--" She nuzzled the daughter who snuggled close to her mama and watched her papa. "--is Mook. It is the name of an extreamly rare type of flower found only in the deepest forests." She smiled. "And that--" She turned her dial to the colt who was now frolicking in the puddles and making his coat go brown. "--is Arkanis. A form of magical lightning." She gave a sigh, happy with her foals.

He smiled, he loved both of the names. "Beautiful." He said to her. He pushed his head down, to look at his daughter at her level. He knew she would out grow her shyness of him. He looked up and saw his son, running around. Soon he joined his son, making his pelt darker than it had been. He threw his head up and whinneyed.

Mook would always be a delicate filla, calm and shy. But her brother was loud, chaotic and as fast as lightning. When his father got near, he seemed to think it was time to play, as he crashed into the biggest puddle and kicked his heels up at his father, but not enough to hit him.

Tryan snorted and then kicked up his own heals, away from his son though. He ran around the big puddle and then came back and jumped into it, sending mud and water flying everywhere. He laughed and looked at his son, wondering if he got any on him.

Arkanis had paused, his pools crossed as he stared at the large amount of mud that had made itself at home on his maw. He blinked and his ebony pools fell on his father. He shook his dial, but the mud refused the budge.

Tryan began to laugh. His own pelt was brown now, instead of the lovely black it once had been. His tail was also brown now. He reared and came down, more mud splashed everywhere. He was having fun and he knew he and his son would have many times like this.

Arkanis' once pearly white coat was now streaked and splashed with mud and dirt, his spikey ice like banners were black as coal, and the only white parts left on his were his tail and a single white stripe down his forehead, like a lightning bolt.
Mook blinked, trying to stay out of the way of the mud. She was still ivory white and wanted to remain that way. Diosa had used her wings to keep the mud off, but had a few splashes about her hocks.

"Ha!" Yelled Tryan when he saw his son. "I got you!" He snorted and laughed some more. He turned and cantered out of the mud and shook himself, bug hunks of mud flew off of him and onto the green grass and some on the white flowers. He saw that and he made a face, then he walked over and tried to wipe of the mud, but he only got more on them. He looked at Mook and said, "Sorry."
