*fastforward*
The next moring the golden fae got up. She had slept with the other fillys cause her mother didn't like her sleeping with the colts. So she had to put up with all of the other girls complaining that she smelt like a colt and she looked horriable. She snorted at them and made comments back, making one of the fillys cry. She just rolled her orbs and walked away. She wasn't mean, but when fillys started picking on her, she just picks back. She threw her head up and trotted out to meet the guys. She didn't see Midnight, the black colt that had lost the race the night before. She shook her head and then began to graze with her friends.
Mask saw the golden fae join them. There were two colt herds in one this moring and he was glad. He didn't like how some of the colts seemed to boss him around. He kept on grazing with the others and he talked a little bit about the race the night before, and how the leader and the golden one tied,

Eclissi had left the land in Natala's charge, and he had wandered south to meet with his brother, the stag known as North. They were not really brothers, but they had grown together and formed an alliance of sorts, and met once a month when the sun hung at half point to speak and discuss things. North appeared on the horizon and ran down to great his brother. Eclissi's pelt was purest brown, clean and clear, and his banners were golden, sweeping with the wind, but North was also very oddly coloured, completly black with white freckles on his rump. They greeted each other, touched maws and began to speak of things.

Natala looked around the land. She had hoped that the young stallion was okay and that he would be fine on his journey. She knew he had been going for a time, but she missed him while he was gone. She watched the land and the small herds running around.

It was sundown by the time North departed, the ebon glow of the offworld sun making his pelt dance ebon black, and his hide sunshine yellow. He was soon little more than a figure on the horizon, and in turn, Eclissi reared, punched the sky and spun breaking into a race against the wind itself. All night, he ran, and as he leapt the boarder into his home, his hooves flying still as he galloped through the treeline, he felt his heart ache at something North had mentioned. There was a cream filly in North's herd. Usually North's herd consisted of appaloosa's and paints, but the filla had been born and bred there, and now North had offered her to Eclissi and he was in two minds about whether to take the filla. His wild gallop slowed into a canter as he bounded up his hill side to stand atop the highest point, and he issued a loud neigh to let his kingdom know he had returned. With the sun slapping his hide, he appeared as a full grown stallion, dancing with power and strength, and long after his pulse had settled and the sun had downed, he was still the powerful stag, Eclissi, grandson of Noche.

Natala turned when she heard the cry. She smiled when she saw Eclissi return home. She swished her tail and waited for him to come over before she walked down his post and over to her main little herd she was in. She had joined that herd because her sister had started it, and now she was the leader of it. She stood talking to the mares about nothing.
"Pieces! Peices!" The young fae heard. She turned and saw the little bay colt running towards her. "Yes?" She asked him, wondering what the matter was. "Midnight fell in the river again, trying to jump the log." She smiled when she heard the words, then she nodded that she had heard and turned back to the two colts she had been talking to. They were both from another colt herd and they were always going from filly herd to filly herd. She rolled her orbs to herself and then explained why she had to go. So she turned and cantered over to her herd and laughed at Midnight. She shook her head and then began to talk with her own herd mates.

Eclissi didn't feel like going after Pieces. He wasn't old enough to woo a fae, and besides, her herd mates would laugh in his face. She was a tom boy, and would probably prefer it if he stayed away. He looked about the land and froze, his pools fixing on a gold fae he'd never seen before. A giggle echoed forth, and the gold dissapeared into the tree line. Eclissi snorted, leapt down the cliff and went after the nameless gold.

The golden fae watched the leader run away. She wondered where he was going. She excused herself from her herd and cantered after him. But only because she wanted to see where he was going. Her mane and tail were pulled out behind her and her eyes were shinning. She jumped a small stream, with out breaking her stride.

Eclissi had paused in the forest, the golden fae standing before him with a giggle. He walked to her. She was new around there and he wanted to know who she was.
"Who are you?"
"I am The One Gift Lost."
She smiled and touched her maw to his. She knew how young he was, and she liked spending time with young horses. She giggled and smiled happily. Eclissi was surprised, and snorted, but gave a chuckle.

The filla came through the trees, but stopped when she heard speaking and giggles. She hid back in the forest and then walked around to find a good place to look for her leader. When she saw him she almost gasped as she saw another fae. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She didn't have a crush on the leader, but for some reason she didn't like him with this other fae.

For a long moment the two horses just watched each other, then Lost stepped forth and placed her maw close to Eclissi's, whispering things to him. Eclissi flicked his auds to catch her every word and he barely moved nor blinked or breathed. Finally Lost giggled, turned and dissapeared into the forest at a gallop. Eclissi took a step after her, like he would like nothing better than to race the wind with her, but he stopped himself and snorted.

The golden fae turned and ran out of the forest, not caring if she was heard. She threw her head up and tried to clear the tears. She jumped over the stream and ran towards the river. She was stopped though by her herd. She sniffed up and didn't let the colts see her crying. She looked at them and then began to talk, like nothing happened in the forest.

Eclissi turned his dial to see the flash of gold dissapear from veiw and he snorted. Who had it been, he wondered. The scent of tears was washed to him on the breeze and he sighed before turning and stepping back into the sunlight, his pools dancing over the land but he saw no trace of anyone who would have shed tears on his behalf. Disgruntled, saddened by the loss of the only horse who had ever spoken to him like a friend, and basically bored, like always, he returned to his post, his pools searching the horizon for danger... or for his fae friend.

Pieces saw the leader return, without the other fae. She snorted and then looked at the colts around her. She walked away from them and then moved into a trot. Sending hooves at the few that followed her. She swished she had a female friend, but she had left those for the colts. She moved into a canter, going towards his post for some unknown reason. She just wished to see him up close. As she came closer she slowed to a trot to get a good look at him. He was so handsome and she wished he would talk to her. Then she stopped, not slowing first. She snorted to herself and then began to talk. "Peices, your so stupid! Your a tomcolt, not a filly looking for love." She made a face at the word she had spoken. "Uh! Love, I hate that word." She made the same face again and then began to pace, right under the leader's post.

Eclissi hadn't heard her words but his pools had watched her, even though it wasn't obvious. It was true that she had a beauty of a sort, but it was hidden by her being a tomcolt. He snorted and lowered his dial, watching her as she paced and eventually he whickered to her, low and calm like an older type stallion would do. Like Noche would do. It surprised Eclissi quite a bit, that he had done that, but there you had it, it had been an intresting day after all.

She stopped, her head down, then it lifted. Her eyes were wide. The breeze blew her forlock back to show her beautiful blue eyes. "Did you summon me?" She asked him. Her words were quite, so only he could hear them. She didn't move from that spot, but stayed, making sure it was him that called her.
