Peices looked at the new colt. She snorted and said, "What do you need here?" Her words were not mean, but weren't kind either. Her leader was lying down, at a venerable state. Her own pelt gleamed in the sunlight, making him look good, but not like the sun like her. She threw her head up and waited for an answer. She looked down at Eclissi before she looked back up to the new colt.
Natala stood beside the golden one. Her buckskin pelt looked close to the filly's. They shone just the same, but the darkness in her coat made it dull. She snorted and swished her tail. "What is it you need here?" She asked the colt, repeating the samething that the filly had said.

The stag made no reply but dipped his head to Eclissi and lipped at his forelock. "Brother?" North's vocals were deep and husky, very unsimilar to Eclissi's.
Eclissi lifted his dial, his pools remaining closed. "North?"
"Yes. I am here. My land was taken by humans, and until I can chase them away, or they leave, my herd will be using the fields just a bit to the north of here as grazing lands." He lifted his head and neighed loudly, the sound of a stallion who was used to taking charge, and answering neighs echoed through the land. North's herd was close. A tiny sunburnt filly had danced her way through Eclissi's herd and now wandered up to stand by North. She whickered and North nuzzled her before looking at Natala and Pieces. "I am North, Leader of the Renegade Four." Most horses knew of the Renegade Four so he didn't feel the need to explain. "Eclissi is my bond brother." He swished his banner and a thin scar showed on his rump. Only then was it noticable that Eclissi wore the same scar on his own hide.
"This is Shakira, my daughter." He nuzzled the sunburnt filla who whickered happily.
Eclissi's pools opened slowly and he spoke. "Your... herd... is near?"
North nodded. "Yes. And until you are healed I will protect your herd also. I must go now brother, my lead fae will need help getting the herd settled, but I will return. Shakira--" he turned to his daughter. "--Ssin'urn dalharil. Dos z'klaen zexen'uma ghil ulu kyon whol ussta dalninuk. Plynn kyon, lu'Usstan zhal yutsu ulnin." It was a language native to his herd, and so those of Eclissi's herd would not understand, but none the less, North spun on his heels and galloped to his herd which was only moments away.
Shakira danced in place and tilted her head before bleating and laying down beside Eclissi.

Pecies didn't know if she liked this new colt. She didn't want him commanding the whole herd around. And she didn't like how he invited himself into their land. She looked down at the filly. She was the same color as the small thing. She looked at Eclissi and then walked away from the post and over to her small colt herd. Everyone welcomed her back and gave her nuzzles along every part of her body. Once she was greated again she went to the center of the herd and lied down.
Natala sighed, she didn't want Peices mad at Eclissi, but she was and there was nothing she could do about it. She looked at the new filly and said, "So your North's daughter? How are you?" She wanted to be kind to the new herd, and welcome them. But she didn't like either how they just came into the land and bossed Eclissi around.

Eclissi knew North wasn't bossing him around, North just had a very confrentational personality. He had always been that way, as North was a true born leader. He wouldn't boss Eclissi's herd around, just warn them if there was danger, or fight for them if there was trouble, and Eclissi was grateful as he wouldn't be much help for a while. Shakira had busied herself with licking Eclissi's nape to get the dried blood off, and she was treating him very much like a father, which was obviously what North had wanted her to do. When Natala spoke, Shakira looked up at her and tilted her dial. "Vel'bol?" She didn't understand the language Eclissi's herd spoke, as she had only been taught the native language of her people. Eclissi gave a light chuckle, his pools closed. "She wont understand you Natala... North teaches his young his native language, so only the mares will really understand us."
North bucked a bit as he trotted back into his herd. He hated the soft grass under foot, and the blue skies, and more than anything he missed his sunburnt home. He reared up and neighed to his herd, letting them know they were safe. His herd was quite used to North's personality, and knew he didn't mean to be bossy or confrontational, and he really had a good heart.

Pieces looked up around her when she awoke. She saw all of the colts around her, all of their tails at least. She giggled to herself before she stood and shook herself. She left a print in the grass from where she had lay ed. She looked around for the bay colt, the youngest of the small herd. She saw him and walked over to him, asking to be let out of the circle. She thanked the colts for protecting her as she slept, then she walked over to a stream and took a long drink. She could feel the colts staring at her. She rolled her orbs before she turned and yelled at them. Some of the younger colts took off, and some just stood there. Then she charged and the whole herd took off, her at the back chasing them.
"Oh." Said Natala. She looked at the golden filly and then asked Eclissi. "How are you feeling now?" She walked closer to them and stood above the two, protecting them like they were her own foals. She looked around, wondering where her son was, but she knew he was somewhere with his own herd,
____
A white fae walked up to North. She was apart of his herd. Her name was My December and she had been apart of his herd sense she was born. "Um, sir, how long are we going to stay in this land?" She hated the feeling of grass under her hooves. She hadn't lied down for she knew the grass would pock her side. So she stayed standing.
Nickers were heard off in the distance. A light bay filly was running with the colt herd. Her long black mane was pulled out behind her, she was in the lead and winning the race. She didn't mind the grass feeling on her hooves, and that was why she was in the lead. She had always been in the lead though. She pushed an extra birst of speed and ran past the lead colt to win the race. She slowed to a canter and laughed at the other colts. Her eyes were shinning and her pelt was not wet at all. Some of the other colt's were very wet. She shook her head and said, "I bet you all again!" Her giggle was loud and fun. It was Kahli.

Eclissi blinked. "I feel better with my Brother near. I feel tired, but with a little rest I will be fine." He turned his dial to look at Natala. "Thank you for asking."
--
North dipped his dial in respect to the young fae and replied. "Not long, young beauty. As soon as the leader of the South is healed, he and I will go and chase the humans from our land. Then we will return home." His ebony pelt was shining with the glint of the sun, and his oddly pelted hide was glowing dimly.
--
Two young horses were playing in the divider between North's new grazing grounds, and Eclissi's herd. From a distance, all that could be seen was that they were young, two years at the most. The one closest to North's herd was chestnut with a blaze, and two stockings on the left. The one closer to Eclissi's herd, in plain veiw of the herd, was dark brown with two front socks and a star. They were both arabian in appearance, and raced along the boundery line between the two herds, laughing and playing.

Natala nodded. She looked at the colt and then the filly before out towards the land. She sighed and said, "I will stay with you until you awake." She smiled to him and then backed up a few steps, making sure she didn't lose her footing and fall off the post. She looked back once and then saw she was fine. She sighed and made all of her weight go on three hooves, leaving the back one to rest on it's tip.
After an hour of running the golden fae slowed down. Her breath was short and hard as she cooled herself out. She started in a trot and then a slow walk, letting her muscles cool down. Some of the older colts had taught her how to do it, now she was passing it on. She sighed as she felt herself relax. She closed her eyes for a moment and then she heard laughing. She opened her eyes and snorted, who was laughing? She looked around her and saw no one laughing so stood there for a moment and then waited to see if she could hear it again. _______________
The white fae smiled at her leader. "Thank you m'lord. And how is South doing?" She wanted to be near the leader for a moment. She had only seen him a few times, when he would go up and down, checking the herd once in a while. She swished her white tail and blinked her blue eyes. She was a beautiful fae.
Kahli stopped when she heard the laughing. She had been running with the colts and now she had stopped. She looked around and saw the two, some unknown ones. She snorted and cantered towards them. She had always wanted to be a look-out for the herd, but the North had always had his look-outs. This time she got there first. "Hello!" She called to them. Her light bay pelt shone in the sunlight and her brown eyes shone as well.

Eclissi took her kind words and dropped his dial, his pools closing as he did so. He was soon asleep. Shakira bleated and licked his cheek playfully, but she soon stood and went wandering on her own. She was nimble and ever so cute, and managed to avoid all the big horses.
--
The two who had been galloping on the ridge stopped and reared up at one another, laughing and playfully kicking out at each other. The chestnut was a young stag, but didn't seem to be a threat, and the brown was a very elegant looking filla. She snorted as Kahli approached and shied back as her male friend stood before her protectivly. He held a strong stance, as any stallion would, as if protecting a mare in his herd, and spoke in pretend deep tones. "G'day." His words made his female friend start giggling and laughing. She nipped at his shoulder. "Oh, Zephyr, you ain't no big stally, you wont scare no one." She chuckled. He turned his pools to his friend, dropping his guard as he did so. "And why not, aye? Come on Fifi, lets see you do betta!" He laughed.
--
"He's injured, but it ain't nothing a little sleep wont cure." North dipped his dial to shoo a fly away from his leg, before lifting his dial and looking back at the young one before him. She looked quite a bit like his lead fae, before she had passed on to the next world. Stunning and pale. He shook his dial to clear that thought and looked back out at the land, dark pools watching his herd move about.

Natala stayed with Eclissi as he slept. Making sure that no one woke him. She watched the young golden one walk around for a while, then she closed her own eyes, but staying awake as she did so. She had learned to do that while her own son was a young colt. She loved this trick. _________
Kahli smiled at the two. She like the colt already, but she wondered why he talked to funny. She swished her black tail and said, "I'm Kahli. What's your names?" She threw her head up, sending her mane flying. Under her mane her pelt was darker from sweat, but it was hidden as soon as her mane came back down.
____ The white one smiled. "That's good then." She saw the lead shake his head and she wondered why. She blinked a few times and then saw Kahli talking to two new ones. She snorted and said, "Um, do you want me to check out those new foals?" She knew she was the same age as them, but she was very mature. Maybe a year older, sense she was three, but....

After a long while Eclissi heaved onto his side, laying flat on the earth and falling into a deep slumber. The tiny gold filla returned and stood over him like she was protecting him. It was hours on when Eclissi suddenly shivered and sat up before standing. He shook, his wounds closed and clouded with dust and such. He lowered his dial to the tiny gold and offered small smile.
--
The colt snorted and turned back to Kahli. "I'm Zephyr, aye." "Call him Zeph for short." The filly giggled. "Uh huh." Zeph gave a nod. "And this here is Fifi." "Not really. My real names Fiesta, but they call me Fifi." She tossed her dial. The dark pelted filly seemed the happy sort, and the colt was definatly a bit odd, but neither seemed to mind that they had stumbled apon an unknown land.
--
North turned his dial too see, and as soon as he realised one was a colt he pounded a dagger on the earth and turned to trot towards the newbies. He paused, a fair distance away to observe. He hadn't meant to ignore December, but that was what had happened.

Natala heard Eclissi get up and she opened her eyes. She had fallen asleep and she hadn't known it. She snorted and then shook her head. She looked at the golden one and smiled. Then she walked over to Eclissi and looked over him, making sure there were no more open wounds. "You look a lot better." She told him, a smile on her face as she did so. ____ Kahli smiled when she heard the two talk. It was like they read each other's minds. She threw her head up and said, "Want to join me? In a few races? Me and the other colts have been racing all day." For some reason the light bay thought she was a colt herself, but she knew deep down she wasn't. She stamped and hoof and turned to see her leader. She looked back to the brother and sister and said, "That is my leader, North. I bet he will welcome you."
____ December didn't mind that he had taken off, that was his job to do that. She stood where she was and waited for him. She looked around and saw a golden filly walking towards her. At first she thought it was North's daughter, but then she got a closer look and knew it wasn't her. She walked over to her and said, "I'm My December, can I help you?" ___ The golden fae nodded. "Yeah, um, who are those two new ones?" She pointed with her maw to the two new filly and colt, that was near the light bay filly. She looked back to the white fae and got a shrug from her. "Okay, thanks." She said and then walked away.
